Bio: James Mays (aka) GtDaBoss is the founder and CEO of P.H.A.T BOI Entertainment, LLc. As president, James looks after all aspects of the companies’ functions including, Marketing and Directing, as well as Engineering and Performing. A big believer in helping others, P.H.A.T BOI supports local and upcoming artist throughout the community. GtDaBoss is no stranger to the music industry, having spent the last 16 years as a rapper; he learned the importance of hard work, dedication and determination. Gt has more than 15 years of experience in a recording studio along with 2 years engineering and design. Prior to starting his own company, James spent a couple of years as a Supervising Chef for the Delancey Street Foundation. Before starting his own label, Gt did numerous tracks with many different individuals at various studios. Such as Macadoshiss Records, Breadhouse Ent., and Monumental Ent. At this time Gt’s only job was to rap. P.H.A.T BOI Entertainment offers a wide range of services- from Graphic Design to Sound Recording, mixing and mastering. James has background experience in public speaking, management and customer service which provides the perfect foundation for running his own company.
